Where were you born, and how was life growing up?
Alexis Farmer I was born in Hollywood, California at Hollywood Presbyterian. Life wasn't always easy growing up with an alcoholic father who eventually died when I was 12 yrs old. But I can't complain because I had a loving mother and wonderful siblings. As a kid, I was involved in dance, Ice-skating, track and music, so I definitely wasn't deprived. There were always ups and downs, but that's what has molded me into who I am now.
What is your ethnicity?
Alexis Farmer My mother is 100% Assyrian and my father was Irish and Scotch
What would the average person say about you?
Alexis Farmer That I'm silly, goofy, funny, down to earth, stubborn, too emotional, sensitive, empathetic and forgiving. I'm always trying to entertain my friends and family, and you'll always catch me singing something around the house or in the shower:)
What kind of stuff did you get into after high school?
Alexis Farmer I went straight to college, then took 5 yrs off to pursue my music recording in the legendary Mike Post's studio in Burbank, Ca. I always modeled on the side and had some sort of part-time job. I had my daughter a month after my 24th b-day and life since then has been busy but so fulfilling and amazing.
How did you get into modeling?
Alexis Farmer I won the La Looks hair care competition when I was around 12 or 13, and that gave me enough confidence to pursue it, so when I turned 16, I got signed to Otto Models.

How did you feel being in front of the camera for the first time?
Alexis Farmer Comfortable and confident:)
How did you feel walking into your photoshoot?
Alexis Farmer I'm always a little nervous before a photoshoot bc I feel the pressure to look good and do a good job posing.
So would you say you are comfortable in front of a camera now?
Alexis Farmer I've always been comfortable in front of the camera after the first shot.
Would you say you are pretty comfortable with your body?
Alexis Farmer Very, I may not be busty, but I'm happy with what God has given me.
What would you say is your best feature?
Alexis Farmer People always compliment my eyes saying they're exotic and then they proceed to ask my nationality. So def my eyes!
What's the best thing about being a model?
Alexis Farmer It's fun to be in front of the camera and mess around with posing. The pay is also almost always great, but never consistent. Free clothing and shoes is always a huuuge plus!!
What do you do differently to set yourself apart from other models?
Alexis Farmer I can't be sure entirely, but I try to constantly give the photographer different poses, different looks, and It's not like I'm intentionally doing this to be different..my look should be different enough.
Where do you hope your modeling will take you?
Alexis Farmer I would loove to land a contract with Victoria's Secret or Guess!! That's always been my dream. Doing runway shows on the catwalk for major designers in Milan wouldn't be bad either;)
Any highlights in your modeling career?
Alexis Farmer I've always loved Emilio PUcci, but could never afford it, so walking the runway in Pucci was a great feeling.
Where can we find you on a typical weekend, if you aren't doing a photoshoot?
Alexis Farmer You can always find me hanging out with my daughter and my boyfriend(her father) doing something outdoors whether it's hanging by the beach, going for a walk, hiking, swimming, hanging with our friends, eating at a restaurant, etc..
What keeps you busy away from modeling?
Alexis Farmer My daughter and school keep me busy..my daughter more so, but I have a lot of help, so it leaves room for the things I want or need to do on my own time.

What do you want to do outside of modeling?
Alexis Farmer sing..I did voice over for Law&Order, and would love to get more voice over work or land a contract with a major record label..but of course, I can't always dream, so in reality, I'd like to finish my degree in psychology and pursue that.
Five years from now, where do you see yourself?
Alexis Farmer Graduated from school, married, and happy hopefully still modeling(if I'm not too old that is;))
What is the coolest thing a fan has ever done for you?
Alexis Farmer When I performed at the House of Blues, I had a lot of fans show up for me there, and that was the coolest feeling ever..as far as fans of my modeling, I had a couple people turn my pictures into drawings, which was beautiful.
Any photographers you enjoy working with or hope to work with?
Alexis Farmer Louie Aguila, laurens Antoine and Troy Itow are smong the favs who are very talented and very respectful and professional.

Do you travel much for your modeling?
Alexis Farmer Not recently, I used to. The farthest I've traveled this year was San Diego

Alexis Farmer I love to see the world
If you could travel anywhere, where would it be?
Alexis Farmer Europe and the Bahamas
If you could play lead role in any type of movie, What kind of movie would it be?
Alexis Farmer I'm so full of emotions so a love story or action flick would be soo fun

Do you have a favorite drink when at clubs or bars?
Alexis Farmer I always stick to Bud Light.
What is your favorite type of food?
Alexis Farmer Pizza!!!
What kind of music are you listening to these days?
Alexis Farmer Country, rap, jazz..Lara Fabian is a must 90's Phil Collins, Chicago always in the cd player.
Tell us something you got away with?
Alexis Farmer I drove at 15-18 without a license, never got pulled over;) hehehe.
Which celebrity would you like to meet and why?
Alexis Farmer Ben Stiller!!! He makes me laugh like no one can ohh and The Wayans Bros, they have my humor..I know I'd be laughing the whole time!!
Best pickup line you've ever heard?
Alexis Farmer oh gosh, there's never been a good pick up line. I like the honest "you're so beautiful, I hope the guy you're with knows how lucky he is."
Worst pickup line you've ever heard?
Alexis Farmer girl, your legs must be tired bc you've been running around in my head all day.
If you could be a super hero, what would that superhero be like?
Alexis Farmer Someone who gets rid of the bad guys, and I better be able to fly ahhh
What the worst prank you've ever played on anyone?
Alexis Farmer hahaha my sister and I are always playing pranks since we were kids, it's in our dna!! haha the best prank was when we stole my brother's friend's wallet and told him the only way he'd get it back is if he dressed up in my tight red dress and walked up to a man in a car pretending to be a prostitute hahahahaha never gets old!!!
What the worst prank anyone has ever played on you?
Alexis Farmer haha man that sucks, my brother used to dress up in scary masks and costumes and walk in my room and turn the lights off, always freaked me out!!!
Find a lamp and out pops a Genie, you get one wish, what would it be?
Alexis Farmer Health for my family and I for the rest of our lives.

Tell us about the person your with today?
Alexis Farmer Aaron is the love of my life and the father of our 2 yr old daughter. I have loved him for 9 yrs and my heart still skips a beat when I'm with him. He has so many amazing qualities and supports my modeling career. We have a blast together from being outdoors, to shooting guns, riding horses, being out on the water, listening to country music, dancing..We have been through the toughest of times bc we tend to butt heads..he can be really stubborn and very logical which drives me craaazy, but I love him. Most people could never imagine how we got through the tough times and are still together today(no-not cheating), but I firmly believe that a couple has to go through a break-up or two and some harsh obstacles to have a solid foundation. If you can forgive and never give up on working on your relationship, then that's love, and that's worth holding on to.
Give us the dirt on your dating life. Any first date rules?
Alexis Farmer I haven't dated in years, so I'm a little stale in that category..but I believe the guy should always pay on the first date, that's the gentleman thing to do.
Do you kiss on the first date?
Alexis Farmer Never..I always wanted to leave them with something to look forward to.
How many kids in high school have asked you out?
Alexis Farmer umm none lol
Should a person call right away or wait a few days?
Alexis Farmer right away!! No games geesh
What kind of guy bugs you?
Alexis Farmer Cold and unemotional, liars, arrogant guys.
What does a guy need to do to make you stay?
Alexis Farmer Give me his heart, treat me right, don't lie and put forth their best effort to make sure I'm happy.
What's the worst place to meet a guy?
Alexis Farmer Well the thing is I'd say a bar or club, but decent people like to do those things too.
On a date... What does the person have to do to make it perfect for you?
Alexis Farmer Ask me questions about me and not talk about themselves the whole time, although I love asking the questions. He should be polite, have manners, be sweet and charming;)

Alexis Farmer To finish school, obtain my degree in psychology and land in a major magazine or billboard.
